Franchise Opportunities Advertising
It is amazing how many business opportunities and
franchise ads say things like "no experience
necessary" or "be your own boss," or both. But the
reality is there is some experience necessary. You
see, you need to be able to budget, manage lead
people, understand customer service, and balance a
check book. The reality is that most Americans can't
even do that. Do you know why?
It is because we are dummying down our
populations, and the twittering crowd is making it
worse. Today, in our high schools we are more
concerned with making sure everyone can read and do
math, than understand economics, consumer credit,
and money. Therefore, they end up failing in life,
and going on to the public dole for all their needs.
This raises the cost of our taxes to help all those
people that have got themselves into their own
horrific situation.
So in reality there is some experience needed and
to purport otherwise is disingenuous,
misrepresentative, and it is unfair advertising.
Just because you finished high school and can read
and do a little bit of math, and perhaps, a little
writing too (if you call that chicken scratch
text-messaging writing), does not mean you have the
experience to run a business no matter how small;
including a small business online, where you sell
products over the Internet.
Interestingly enough, in every single franchise
agreement that I've ever read, and most of the
business opportunity agreements, somewhere in there
it clearly states that your success will be based on
your own business acumen. However, if you don't have
any experience in business, and your personal credit
is shot to hell, then obviously you don't have any
business acumen at all. Thus, you have no
experience. In that case most likely you will fail
in any business opportunity or franchise, no matter
what it is. |
