+ Keep ample amount of promotional literature and a few important sales items with you to ensure that you are safe even if your shipment is delayed by a day or so.
+ Keep your co-workers and family informed about your travel itinerary.
+ Do not forget to carry your registration details and phone number list of important contacts at the event you are attending.
+ Keep a first aid kit handy always at your trade show displays.
+ Contact information and business card is a must. Take ample number of cards with you for distribution.
+ A week before the event starts, re-confirm your travel reservations including car and hotel accommodation.
+ Get in touch with the sponsor of the exhibit to confirm your trade show displays reservation and other important details. Be sure to get details of the local shipping and printing store and find out details of when and where your shipment can be picked up.
+ Before you leave, double check your banners, graphic displays and other accessories.
