Windows is a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft, one of the Giant in software companies. The Windows is totally GUI (graphical User Interface) based OS. Also it is one of the most famous OS; almost 90% of people are using Windows in the planet. Windows was first time introduced in 1985 as add-on to Microsoft DOS. It's overtook the Mac OS which had been introduced before that. Windows have had number of version and series. Microsoft has two main types of Windows products and these are Client and Server. In hosting we used the Server product like Win 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows server 2008 etc.

As you know that there are two types of OS using for Web Hosting, Windows and Linux based. There are many differences between them. One is open source and other is developed by "Microsoft". Here I need to explain what is Windows Hosting? And in which manner we can use it. When we talked about Windows Server its allows OR support all the Microsoft other products and Tools such like ASP, ASP.net, MS SQL, share point and etc. Windows also supported so many third party products such like PHP, Java, Flash and etc.
